Wall Street II To Film In London

gecko_062207.jpgWhenever you have an iconic (and dated) movie that needs a new-decade revamp, London is the place to go. Hey, it worked for Basic Instinct 2. The Financial Times‘ Alphaville blog is reporting that Wall Street 2 is going to be set in London. The follow-up is dubbed Money Never Sleeps, and scriptwriter Stephen Schiff is in the U.K. doing research by speaking to businessmen and financial journalists. The gist of the film? Gordon Gekko gets released from jail and goes ga-ga for hedge funds.

Michael Douglas is expected to star.
