Washington Examiner‘s Barone, WSJ‘s Gigot Win Bradley Prize for Outstanding Achievement

Michael Barone, senior political analyst at The Washington Examiner, and Paul Gigot, editorial page editor at The Wall Street Journal, are two of this year’s winners of the Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation’s Bradley Prize. They each get $250,000.

“These accomplished and respected individuals are being recognized for achievements that are consistent with the mission statement of the Foundation, including the promotion of liberal democracy, democratic capitalism, and a vigorous defense of American institutions,” said Bradley Foundation president and CEO Michael W. Grebe, in a statement.

Non-journalist winners were Bradley A. Smith, a law professor at Capital University, and John B. Taylor, an economics professor at Stanford.
