THE [MANDATORY] HUNTER S. THOMPSON TRIBUTE ISSUE (TMHSTTI)

(We wish we were kidding.) Hopefully they won’t actually call it that. But it’s Wenner Media so you never know. We’re thinking (or psychically deducing, take your pick) that the TMHSTTI will include:

· A black & white cover photo of Hunter from the early years (1965) with a cigarette dangling from his hand.

· Reproductions of original manuscripts, including the first draft of “Fear & Loathing.”

· Letters between Hunter and Jann, including one in which Jann tells Hunter to just go ahead and expense his speed purchases to the magazine.
