“What do you do when your toe falls off?”

No, this isn’t a post about delicious Wendy’s chili – it’s about the New York Daily News’ knee-slappin’ foot-stompin’ gut-bustin’ shoulder-shakin’ laugh-a-minute jokes page!

You may recall that the Daily News sent out an email inviting submissions for to find “the best joke in New York,” advising “the shorter and punchier, the better.” Nonetheless, they went with what they got. In addition to swipes at Michael Jackson and the obligatory poke at the Post, there were a few FISHBOWL-friendly puns. Our favorite: “What do you get when an elephant mates with a rhino? El if I know.” Hee.

None of them are as funny, though, as the unintentional pun in this story about the Wendy’s mystery finger: according to the sister of
finger-finder Anna Alaya: “It’s just a mess right now. Things are out of hand.” HA. If they want to find the finger, maybe they should follow a tip. Oy, I kill me.
