Who’s Helping WSJ Reporters Research Stories? ‘No One’
Included among the 14 layoffs at The Walls Street Journal yesterday were assistant librarian
Leslie A. Norman and library news assistant Ed Ramos. As a result, the WSJ library will close on March 23. So who’s going to help reporters research stories? Well, um, anyone? Anyone? Nope.
According to a letter sent out by Norman to colleagues, “When I asked who will do research for the reporters, I was told , ‘No one.’”
