Don’t look now, but the NFL season is just around the corner. Today, the league announced a deal for WPIX/Channel 11 to simulcast the NFL Network’s coverage of the New York Giants game with the Carolina Panthers September 20th in Charlotte.

Channel 11 will air the 8 p.m. game exclusively in New York over-the-air. The action will be called by the NFL Network team of play-by-play announcer Brad Nessler, game analyst Mike Mayock and Alex Flanagan providing reports from the sidelines. Prior to the Week 3 matchup, WPIX will air its own pre-game show starting at 7 p.m.
