A tipster at a competing network tells TVNewser: “Tonight, after months and months of pushing her new capital J regime, Katie Couric will include in her first 22 minutes on the job — the Vanity Fair pix of Suri Cruise. Seems to be quite the contradiction to what she has been preaching.”

In her First Look video, Couric promised a “big pop culture surprise,” adding: “We’re not going to tell you what it is, but it’s something that many people have been anxious to see.”
