The CNN Grill, located directly outside the Pepsi Center, was packed on Monday night as the convention wound down for Day 1. But after the convention ended for the night, it became standing room only.

The various CNN-related drinks and free food drew many in, as did the prime real estate.

Besides the big name political figures (also, Caroline Kennedy sat down for a post convention meal with her whole family), there were the real celebs as well. Joe Pantoliano and The Daily Show duo of Jason Jones and John Oliver were among those in attendance.

A huge outdoor area, where an Election Express bus is currently parked, and a broadcast set right in the middle of the action make the locale a unique spot.
