“Al-Jazeera’s English-language channel has suffered a further setback, with its launch delayed until September at the earliest,” the U.K. Guardian reports.
The centres (in London, Doha, Kuala Lumpur and Washington) “are still not finished,” and “it is understood executives at the channel are becoming increasingly fed up with the slow pace of progress.”
The paper quotes a source who says: Staff are extremely frustrated, as is the management, who are tearing their hair out at the innefficiency of support staff.”
