Aruba Arrest: “It’s On CNN, It’s On CNN”

CNN correspondent Chris Lawrence was riding in the car with Natalee Holloway’s mom yesterday when she received a phone call informing her of another arrest in the case of her missing daughter.

“She smiled as soon as she heard the news,” Lawrence told Anderson Cooper last night. “She got on the phone immediately and called her husband. And it was interesting, because he was telling her that he was watching it on TV on CNN. And she started telling her friend, who was sitting next to her, It’s on CNN, it’s on CNN, it’s on, the arrest. And she’s saying, How could it be on CNN? They’re right here with us already. And obviously Karl [Penhaul] here had already gone on the air with it and let the world know that this arrest had been made.”
