Becker Becomes DC VP for Business News

Fox News Channel interim D.C. bureau chief Bruce Becker has been promoted to the newly created position of vice president for business news in Washington for the proposed Fox Business Channel, TVNewser has learned.

Becker has been with the network since 1996. He was the deputy bureau chief in DC for many yearas, overseeing the editorial newsgathering operation. “Before joining FNC, Becker was the executive producer for FOX’s affiliate news operation and also had stints at WTTG-TV (FOX) and WETA-TV (PBS),” his bio says.
