Beck’s New Book Deal

Glenn Beck has signed a new deal for approximately $3 million with Simon & Shuster to write two more books, according to Felix Gillette of the New York Observer.

Beck has a long-running radio program and he hosts a show on Headline News. But his third career, book publishing, has taken off as well, with a recent New York Times bestseller.

That bestseller, according to EVP and Publisher Louise Burke, has shipped over half a million copies so far.

Beck’s next work will be a fiction book titled “The Christmas Sweater,” and, “based heavily on the real events of his childhood.” It is slated for release in Fall 2008.
