Chemical Explosion at Fox News HQ

Fox News is reporting there has been an explosion on the 45th floor of the News Corp building where FNC is located.

Harris Faulkner reported at 11:45amET that there was a chemical explosion that caused evacuations and a response from the New York Fire Department. Faulkner said that just after 11amET announcements began that could be heard in the newsroom as well as the FNC studios updating employees on the situation.

Reuters is reporting floors 42-45 were evacuated, which does not affect FNC or its broadcasting. MyFoxNY.com is reporting that a man was burned in the explosion and 700 people were evacuated.
