Chuck Todd Becomes NBC Political Dir.

Now we know Elizabeth Wilner‘s replacement: “Chuck Todd has been named NBC News Political Director, effective March 12, 2007.”

Based in D.C., Todd will also serve as an on-air political analyst for NBC and MSNBC.

Todd is the EIC of The Hotline. “As for my Hotline and National Journal associates, this is a bittersweet moment for me but thanks to our partnership, I won’t be straying too far,” he says.
