“Connie, Good Try”

FNC’s Dayside aired a clip from Connie Chung‘s rendition of “thanks for the memories” this afternoon “Of course, not many people saw Weekends with Maury and Connie,” Mike Jerrick said in the intro. Then he asked the audience:

“Do you know what MSNBC is? It has to do with television.”

Some audience members laughed.

“Anyway — it won’t be around much longer,” he said.

Then they played the tape. The hosts “gave her credit for attempting.” Juliet Huddy was kind about the tape: “I’m not going to say a word about this because I humiliate myself on a daily basis on this show,” she joked. “Connie, good try,” Jerrick concluded.
