Controversial Documentary To Air On FNC

fnc.jpgThe documentary Islam vs. Islamists, originally slated to air on PBS, will run on Fox News Channel on Saturday, as part of a 90-minute program titled Inside Islam: Faith vs. Fanatics.

According to a FOXNews.com write-up, “the film follows moderate Muslims who have challenged the ‘Islamists’ who espouse a more radical view of their religion.” The documentary was supposed to run earlier this year, as part of PBS’ America At a Crossroads series. But, the article continues, “after viewing the film, PBS executives…told the filmmakers that it was ‘alarmist’ and ‘overreaching’ and that PBS would not run it.”

Inside Islam: Faith vs. Fanatics, hosted by E.D. Hill, will air at 9pmET, featuring interviews with producers Martyn Burke and Frank Gaffney.
