Couric Endorses D.C. Voting Rights

In Washington on Friday, Katie Couric “did a story on D.C. officials pushing for a voting member of Congress. But she went a step further — an unusual step for a network anchor — in endorsing their cause,” Howard Kurtz reports.

Couric said “every American deserves to have someone on their side voting in Congress” in her “Katie’s Notebook” segment (seen online and aired by some affiliates, not on the Evening News).
