Couric’s “Triangular Hand Thing”

Maybe Katie Couric‘s ratings are bad because she does “the triangular hand thing.”
Have you heard of it? It’s when the reporter or anchor forms his or her hands “in the shape of a triangle, index fingers pointed toward the camera.”

“It’s a totally unnatural gesture, something you never see anyone do with their hands in real life. Only on TV,” Bill Mann writes in the Contra Costa Times.

Mann says Couric “does this Hand Thing far too often — which, I’d like to think, is one of the reasons her ratings have been so lousy…”
