Cuts at ABC News D.C. Bureau

Broadcasting & Cable’s John Eggerton reports ABC News is laying off a “handful” of staffers in its D.C. bureau.

This comes on the heels of cuts earlier this month as well.

The reason for the cuts can be linked to Nightline’s departure from D.C. to New York, as well as no longer needing an overnight control room at the bureau.
