DaySide Won’t Be “w/ Linda Vester”

First on TVNewser: DaySide won’t be “with Linda Vester” much longer. While observers wonder if Mike Jerrick and Juliet Huddy will be named new co-hosts of the 1pm show, it seems likely that Vester won’t return to Studio D after her year-long maternity leave.

A tipster says Vester “came to her office last week to do some work, and her stuff was all packed up and it was being repainted.” Apparently Vester wasn’t happy; her former producer “had to come up and calm her down.”

A Fox News spokesperson said Vester was fully aware of the changes going on with her office. “Linda Vester is under contract. She asked for an extended maternity leave and was granted one,” the spokesperson said. Vester may or may not host DaySide when she returns.
