Debates: Dodd’s “Talk Clock”

Chris Dodd‘s campaign staff repeatedly sent campaign journalists a measurement of how much time each candidate spoke in tonight’s debate. The clear message: “The format of tonight’s CNN debate allowed for disproportionate amounts of time for candidates to discuss their positions.” See:


“CNN did not even attempt a semblance of equitable opportunities for the candidates,” one e-mailer thinks. “Clinton, Obama and Edwards were at the center of the stage and took up much more time than the others, whose marginal status was made clear.”
