Don Imus Leaving FBN?

In today’s U.S. News & World Report‘s Washington Wispers, there are rumors that Don Imus is leaving Fox Business Network: “Whispers hears that the network considers his mission accomplished and is considering putting a business show into his early morning time slot.”

Kevin Magee, executive vice president for Fox Business, told U.S. News & World Report, “Imus has helped us enormously and he has awhile to go on his contract.”

Moreover, senior VP and managing editor of business news at FBN Neil Cavuto has always been a big fan: “He really does conduct some remarkable interviews, and he gets a lot out of people in an off-guard moment,” Cavuto said when Imus joined FBN in 2009.
