Dr. Jennifer Ashton Leaves CBS News for ABC Daytime
Dr. Jennifer Ashton has left CBS News and has been named a co-host of the new ABC Daytime show, “The Revolution.”
“My nearly 3 years at CBS News has been a true gift for me,” Ashton writes in a note to her colleagues and obtained by TVNewser. “Working with so many brilliant, talented and kind people (from cameramen, editors and stylists to producers, directors and anchors) has been a privilege. I hope to stay in touch and wish you all the best, professionally and personally.”
Announced in April, and launching in January, the show is a health and lifestyle transformations-themed program, with lead host Tim Gunn. “The Revolution” replaces soap opera “One Life to Live” on ABC’s daytime schedule.
