ESPN’s College Gameday crew is headed west to Boise, Idaho on Saturday, broadcasting live from the site of No. 3 Boise State vs No. 24 Oregon State.
Saturday will mark the first time College Gameday will originate from a school in the Western Athletic Conference.
Based on the great ratings from Boise State’s Labor Day victory over Virginia Tech, the Broncos will play on primetime at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
In a related side note, Oregon State is preparing for the infamous blue turf by painting their practice field in Corvallis to match the field conditions at Broncos Stadium.
The field required 440 gallons of paints (white, then blue) and the money for the supplies and labor were donated by an anonymous donor.
