The gap between ABC’s World News and NBC Nightly News continues to tighten, from 690,000 three weeks ago to 480,000 two weeks ago, to 280,000 last week. ![]()
Still, NBC “had its worst performance since the advent of people meters in adults 18-49 and had the second lowest rated week ever in adults 25-54,” a network tipster says.![]()

> Note: The NBC numbers are based on a three-day average due to NHL games. ABC also had low coverage (93 percent) on Thursday, but their ratings are a five-day average.
