Evening News Ratings: Week of May 21

“For the fifth consecutive week, ABC’s World News with Charles Gibson was the #1 evening newscast among Total Viewers, Households and Adults 25-54,” ABC says. “The last time that ABC won five straight weeks in these categories was more than ten years ago in October 1996.”

For the week of May 21:

Total viewers: ABC: 7,780,000 / NBC: 7,190,000 / CBS: 5,960,000

25-54 demo: ABC: 2,390,000 / NBC: 2,230,000 / CBS: 1,900,000

25-54 rating: ABC: 2.0/9 / NBC: 1.8/8 / CBS: 1.5/7
