Feb. #’s: CNN & HLN Up In “Early Prime”

An interesting trend is apparent in this February ratings chart: CNN and HLN are benefiting from ratings growth in “early prime,” specifically from 4 to 8pm. Here’s the percentage proof:

At 4, The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer was up 43 percent and HLN was up 73 percent in the demo, while Your World was down 1 percent…

At 5, TSR was up 56 pecent and HLN was up 53 percent, while the rest of the cablers were up 20 to 30 percent…

At 6, Lou Dobbs was up 54 percent and Prime News was up 110 percent, while FNC and MSNBC were only up 9 percent…

And at 7, TSR was up 37 percent and Glenn Beck was up 96 percent, while the other cablers were only up 10 to 15 percent…
