Gallup: “One-Third Of Americans Have A Negative View Of Katie Couric”

“The April 23-26, 2007 Gallup Panel poll asked Americans about each of the current evening news anchors,” GallupPoll.com says.

According to the results, Katie Couric is “slightly better known than” Brian Williams or Charles Gibson.

But she also “has the most negative ratings,” the survey found. Also: “Couric has no particular advantage among women.”

“She’s handicapped by the number of people — 29 percent in this poll — who explained their negative opinion by saying they simply ‘don’t like her,’” the AP reports…
