Gizbert Suing ABC; Former Boss Says He Was A “Pretty Average” Reporter
Former ABC News correspondent Richard Gizbert claimed in a London tribunal today that he “was sacked for refusing to go to Iraq.” He is suing for unfair dismissal, but ABC says he was cut for budget reasons. ![]()
In court today, Gizbert’s former boss, London bureau chief Marcus Wilford, alleged that he was a “pretty average” reporter who wasn’t as good as he believed himself to be, the Guardian reports.![]()
