HLN 8 PM host Nancy Grace revealed yesterday that she underwent an emergency medical procedure last Tuesday to remove a mass that dioctors feared may have been malignant. Thankfully, after the growth was removed, it proved to be benign.

“Please ladies go to your doctors, I was the lucky one,” Grace said.

Grace called into her program last night to explain her absence, with Jean Casarez guest-hosting. Video of the appearance is available here.

Grace says she expects to be back at work next week.
