Klein Wanted Lin Off The Anchor Desk; “National Correspondent” Wouldn’t Work
Following up on CNN anchor Carol Lin‘s exit:
“Sources said Lin’s contract was up and CNN wanted her to leave the anchor’s desk to become a national correspondent,” Variety reveals.
“Lin’s husband, former CNN producer Will Robinson, died soon after the birth of their first child; as a single mother to a toddler, she couldn’t commit to the travel requirements of that job.” More…
