Make Space For NBC News on MySpace

myspace_4-21.jpgNBC announced today they are entering the world of MySpace. NBC News and msnbc.com have partnered to launch a Decision ’08 online center on MySpace, as part of MySpace’s IMPACT channel for civic and social engagement.

The site will allow users to access NBC News features and video, in addition to interacting with anchors and reporters.

“We are privileged today to be partnering with such revered news organizations as NBC News and msnbc.com, and to be taking our first steps in what will be a unique and engaging collaboration for the MySpace community,” said Lee Brenner, director of IMPACT and executive producer of political programming at MySpace, in today’s release.

The partnership is especially interesting, considering MySpace is owned by News Corp., which also owns Fox News.
