Media Responds to “Unprecedented” Restrictions on Palin Access
In the wake of Gov. Sarah Palin and the McCain campaign’s press access restrictions yesterday at the UN, the cablers discussed the issue last night and this morning. On Fox News, Bill O’Reilly spent his first segment on the topic. “This is almost unprecedented that Governor Palin is being kept away from the press,” he said. “I think she’s got to at least come out a little bit.” This morning on MSNBC, Joe Scarborough described the McCain campaign’s “battle royale” on the press. And last night on CNN, Campbell Brown took on the “sexist treatment” shown by keeping Palin away from the press (via Politico):![]()
