The cycling community is up in arms over a series of tweets from ESPN.com columnist Michael Smith regarding the nasty crash at the Tour de France Monday.


Innocent enough, right? Try telling that to the Tour de France Lanterne Rouge blog, who wants ESPN to suspend Smith.
(Really? A suspension?)
Tony Kornheiser should have warned Smith that cyclists don’t exactly have a sense of humor when it comes to mocking their sport.
