Morning Show Ratings: Week of Feb. 22

morning_12.24.jpgNBC’s “Today” show was the top morning program last week and drew another large audience in the second week of the Olympic games. The show, which broadcast from Vancouver for the games, decreased in Total Viewers, but increased in A25-54 demo viewers from the first week of the Olympics.

ABC’s “Good Morning America” was up week-to-week in both total viewers and the demo. CBS saw week-to-week decreases in both categories.

NBC drew big audiences with its Olympic interviews and coverage in the morning, though the numbers were down a bit from the Winter Olympics four years ago in Turin, Italy.

(Note: Due to weather-related preemptions, ABC and CBS saw lower coverage on Friday.)

The averages for the week of Feb. 22:

Total Viewers: NBC: 6.28M / ABC: 4.61M / CBS: 2.72M

A25-54: NBC: 2.92M / ABC: 1.97M / CBS: 1.16M
