New Life for ‘America’s Most Wanted’ on Fox News?
This weekend marks the season finale of “America’s Most Wanted.” But crime crusader host John Walsh hopes it’s the not the series finale. In an interview with the AP Walsh reveals he’s in talks with other networks, including Fox News:
Fox News chairman Roger Ailes “has had preliminary discussions with John Walsh and he’s a fan of ‘America’s Most Wanted,’” said Fox News spokeswoman Irena Briganti, “but nothing has been decided.”
Walsh said he hopes to have a deal in place within the next few weeks. FOX broadcasting announced last month that the venerable Saturday night anti-crime show would be ending its weekly run after 23 years.
