Olbermann Apologizes to Local Newscaster in Viral Vid

Keith Olbermann joked Tuesday night about a video that was making the internet rounds of Houston news anchor Melanie Lawson falling out of her chair. Then, last night on “Countdown,” Olbermann apologized for the segment.

“Melanie Lawson has multiple sclerosis, has used a cane for many years, and she still laughed at herself when that happened,” said Olbermann. “So my apologies to you, and to her, for not having known that first.”
