Q1 2008 Ratings: CNN Expected to Win Demo Prime

First on TVNewser: With the first quarter of 2008 coming to a close this Sunday, CNN is positioned to win Prime Time (8pm-11pm / Monday-Sunday) in the key A25-54 demographic. It’ll be the first such win for CNN in six years. The strong showing is due in part to CNN’s performance on primary/caucus nights, as well as the airing of four Presidential primary debates in the first three months of the year. Fox News Channel is poised to win the quarter in Total Viewers. The final numbers come out Tuesday.
