R&TCA Dinner: Tonight’s Lineup

NBC congressional producer Mike Viqueira, chair of the R&TCA dinner, tells TVNewser that Vice President Cheney and his wife will be on the dais, along with Sen. Frist, Sen. McConnell, Sen. Stevens, Leader Pelosi, Rep. Blunt, Rep. Hoyer, and others.

Comedian Frank Caliendo is the entertainment — and he does a dead-on impersonation of President Bush.

On a more serious side, “there will be a video tribute to Peter Jennings this year, and we will give out the Barone and Bloom Awards, which we do every year. This year for the Bloom, David’s two twin 12 year-old daughters will be for the first time presenting the award named for their father,” Viqueira said.
