Thanks to its coverage of the State of the Union, Fox News had the two top-rated shows on cable television last week. Last week marks one of only a handful of times FNC has claimed this victory. The coverage came in ahead of cable mainstays like Spongebob Squarepants and Law & Order. FNC’s broadcast of the Democratic response between 10:12 and 10:27pm came in at #16, with 2,935,000 viewers. CNN did not appear in the top 40.
