CNN’s new talk show host, George Stroumboulopoulos, made the TV rounds on his new channel and elsewhere this week to promote his new series “Stroumboulopoulos.”
First, the important thing: Stroumboulopoulos finally went face to face on “Good Morning America” with a certain American news anchor with a very similar name: George Stephanopoulos.
He also appeared on CNN’s “Starting Point,” where he says he grew up a big sports fan, and started his career as a sports reporter:

His show debuts Sunday night after “Parts Unknown,” then moves to Friday nights next week.
