ESPN 980 posted the following statement on their website:

Erin Andrews attacked by treadmill

ESPN sideline reporter and “Dancing with the Stars” veteran Erin Andrews posted some valuable advice on Twitter: “Make sure u are not too tired when you get on the treadmill…I just busted it in front of everyone…grace!!”

Dan Snyder Is Off Limits On The Tony Kornheiser Show

If you’re expecting Tony Kornheiser or his guests to be critical of Washington Redskins owner Daniel Synder, think again.

John Feinstein explained that the radio host and Pardon the Interruption co-host put the squabash on bringing up Snyder.

“Someone asked an interesting question last week: Do I know the questions I’m going to be asked when I go on the radio. The answer is: not usually. I can guess based on what’s going on what I might be asked about but I don’t usually specifically talk to the host or the producer beforehand.

The only exception to that in the past was when I was still on NPR where I actually wrote my own questions because none of the producers there knew the difference between a hockey puck and a basketball. (On the day Bob Knight was fired I called in to explain that I needed to be on the next morning and the producer who answered the phone said, “so why was he important? Did he coach Michael Jordan or something?”) Read more

Think Twice Before Selling Those Rose Bowl Tickets

The days of college newspapers covering student council meetings and publishing the crime log are long gone.

The Badger Herald, an independent student newspaper at the University of Wisconsin, published the names of the 33 students that were selling their Rose Bowl tickets on Facebook Marketplace, hours after purchasing them.

The Badgers were allotted 5,800 student tickets by the Rose Bowl and they sold out in 20 minutes.

How dare students make extra money during the holidays by selling tickets to a game they clearly have no interest in attending.
