“So Ron Burgundy is a top-notch journalist, there’s no doubt about it, but I think the data might be a bit skewed,” Cooper quipped in his “Riduculist” Wednesday night. “For one thing there’s no movie about me, where as Burgundy plays a small role in ‘Anchorman 2,’ which is in theaters today as you surely know because it’s gotten some promotion you might have noticed.”

My Classy Life and Other Musings, out November 19, is being marketed as the book ”every true American has been waiting for: a shockingly candid and raw confessional from a national treasure…This book deserves a real shot at a Pulitzer Prize. In fact if it doesn’t win one then we will finally have proof that the Pulitzer is rigged.”

The exhibit will open in November and remain on display until August 2014.
Former Texas Tech football coach Mike Leach will be joining the CBS College Sports Network broadcast booth as an analyst for the 2010-2011 season. SportsNewser spoke to Leach about his new job at a CBS Sports kickoff event.
SportsNewser: What are you hoping to bring to CBS College Sports Network this season?
Mike Leach: I guess the biggest reason they brought me on was for another point of view. It is kind of like as you go through life you cant experience everything unless you utilize a variety of peoples eyes. I think I am here to help do that. I am lucky because I have got a great team around me, [play-by-play man] Roger Twibell has a lot of experience, so I have the opportunity to work with them. I am trying to learn a lot and develop my skills to do it. This is a whole different thing.
How do you think you will handle the transition from coaching to TV?
