Terror Plot Foiled: Lauer’s Good Timing

Nice timing: Matt Lauer was in London to tease Sunday’s Diana concert when this morning’s bomb scare news broke.

“Just about three miles from where I’m standing here at Kensington Palace this morning, police diffused or made safe what they’re describing as a potentially viable explosive device,” Lauer said at the top.

Then he spent a couple minutes teasing his Diana coverage before introducing a correspondent’s package and interviewing an ITV News political editor…
