The Best Political Team (Fill in the Blank)

CNN claims to have the Best Political Team on Television, MSNBC says it has the best political team on cable, well tonight on the CBS Evening News, Katie Couric dubbed her team “the best in the galaxy.”

As Couric introduced Bob Schieffer and Jeff Greenfield she said, “Let’s turn now to the best political team in the galaxy….Gentlemen, I’m sure you like that.” Schieffer and Greenfield got a chuckle out of it.

CBS insiders tell TVNewser, Couric has been joking recently in the newsroom about how the cable networks label their political teams, so she thought it only fitting to give a name to the CBS political team too.

Okay, ABC News, how can you top that?
