The Ticker: Couric, Colbert, CEOs…

> Nearly 2,000 votes were cast in TVNewser’s poll asking who becomes the next CBS Evening News anchor. Top spot went to CNN’s Anderson Cooper (24%), CBS’ Harry Smith finished second (19%) and CBS’ Bob Schieffer came in third (14%). 13% didn’t believe the hype — they voted Katie Couric would remain as anchor.

> Colbert Report host Stephen Colbert broadcasts live from Philadelphia this week, but tonight stops by Larry King Live for an interview (CNN, 9pmET). The topic? Recent cases of “truthiness.”

> CNBC’s Squawk Box held its “Retail Summit” this morning, as co-anchor Becky Quick interviewed a plethora of related CEOs. Some of those featured were Burton Tansky of Neiman Marcus (pictured), Anders Dahlvig of Ikea and Steve Sadove of Saks.
