This Week Beats Meet The Press In Demo For First Time Since 1999

Staffers on ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos are thrilled about last Sunday’s ratings. This Week outperformed NBC’s Meet the Press and CBS’s Face the Nation in the 25-54 demographic on Sunday, May 21.

“This was ‘This Week’s’ first win over ‘Meet’ — with full coverage — since August 1999 and the program’s biggest A 25-54 lead over ‘Face’ since May 2, 2004,” a press release said. ABC had 1,080,000 demo viewers, compared to NBC’s 1,020,000, CBS’s 950,000, and Fox’s 570,000. Among total viewers, NBC had 3,380,000, ABC had 2,640,000, CBS had 2,610,000, and Fox had 1,410,000…
