Viewers Look For Matt Lauer

Day one of Today’s “Where In The World Is Matt Lauer?” excursion delivered big ratings. NBC topped ABC’s Good Morning America by nearly one million viewers. On Monday, Matt was on Easter Island. On Tuesday, he was in Panama. Today he was in Austria.

> From an e-mailer: “Maybe it’s just me, but has Where in The World is Matt Lauer jumped the shark? I mean, are we supposed to get chills when we see Matt at the Panama Canal? Maybe if you like locks and barges. And yes, maybe we get excited when we see Matt with Miss Universe from Panama, but that just begs the question: Where in the World is Mrs. Lauer?”
