Walter Cronkite: Back on TV?

walter-cronkite.jpgTVNewser has confirmed with Retirement Living TV that the network, as Cable360.net reports, is “in talks” with Walter Cronkite, “trying to lure America’s most trusted man back to television”. RLTV President Brad Knight says one option would be to have Cronkite give weekly commentary “about anything Walter wants to share with us”.

Familiar faces at RLTV include ex-NBC’ers John Palmer and Lea Thompson, and former CNN’er Mary Alice Williams. Walter Cronkite’s son, Chip Cronkite, is a segment producer on the network program The Art of Living.
