“The Cycle” debuted on MSNBC today, and as part of the first episode, co-host Touré explained what the show was all about.

“We are a group of friends having a dinner party in the afternoon, and we are going to invite you into our party, where we are going to talk about politics and culture in the ensemble format that has existed since the beginning of television, because it still works,” he said.
